Unlocking Inspiration:My Creative Process

Miniature Art

Hey there, fellow creatives! Today, I thought I'd pull back the curtain a bit and let you in on one of the questions I get asked all the time: Where do I find inspiration for all those incredible diorama spaces in my photography? Well, the answer might surprise you or not... it's Pinterest!

Yup, you heard me right. That little digital pot of inspiration gold is my go-to for everything from color palettes to interior décor ideas to styling tips. I mean, where else can you find endless inspiration at the click of a button?

Now, you might be wondering why I prefer Pinterest over other sources. Well, for starters, I'm all about keeping things as realistic as possible in my dioramas. That's why I turn to actual interior décor for my inspiration. I use those real-life spaces as a blueprint for styling my own miniature spaces, tweaking the layout, color scheme, and adding my own personal style to bring my vision to life.

But that's not the only place I find inspiration. Nope, I also have a bit of a soft spot for female art illustrations. There's just something about the poses and the vibe of those illustrations that speaks to me and aligns perfectly with my photography style. Like an illustrator, I see myself as a storyteller, crafting each scene to draw the viewer in and make them feel like they're part of the narrative.

So, if you've ever wondered where I get my inspiration from, now you know, but I’m pretty sure you already knew the answer. And hey, if you want to take a peek inside my Pinterest feed and see what gets my creative juices flowing, just check out it out under my social media links in the navigation . Who knows, maybe you'll find some inspiration of your own!
